Who I Am

30 Years in This Industry.
One Rule That Never Changed.

Steve with customers at delivery

I started in my family's mechanic shop in Union City back in '96 — learned cars from the inside before I ever sold one. Since then I've done nearly every job in this business: sold cars, ran special finance for a 10-dealership group, managed a call center, ran a used car department, even helped pilot an AI program that boosted customer retention at a Toyota store. I was helping dealerships sell on eBay Motors before most of them believed the internet was here to stay.

Here's what all that experience taught me: an unhappy customer, or one in the wrong car, isn't a win — for them or for me.

I'm not here to sell you a car. I'm here to help you get the right one.

"I don't sell cars.
People buy cars from me."

What Happens When You Contact Me

1
You reach out, however's easy Text, WhatsApp, or call — whatever you'd actually use.
2
We talk — like people, not a script I want to know what's actually going on, not just the car you think you want.
3
We figure out the needs vs. the wants Sometimes those aren't the same thing — that's usually where the real answer is.
4
We land on the right solution — together Sometimes that's a deal. Sometimes it's just good advice. Both count.
A Conversation From This Week

A 21-year-old grad student — just moved here from overseas to study bioengineering, living in Hoboken — sat down with me for about fifteen minutes. He wanted a small car, cash in hand. Made sense on paper.

After we talked it through — parking in Hoboken, insurance for a 21-year-old, a car he'd really only drive once or twice a month — I told him what I actually thought: he probably didn't need one. Everything he needs is a walk or a train ride away. When he wants out of the city for a weekend, renting beats owning.

He thanked me, we swapped numbers, and as he was leaving he mentioned he was taking the bus back to Hoboken. I pointed him to the light rail instead.

Could I have sold him a car? Probably.
But if I ever pass him on a street in Hoboken, I want to be able to look him in the eye.
